Professional Profile:

Dr Dandy has worked in teaching and research positions at Flinders University and the University of WA. She moved to Perth in 2000, and started at ECU in October 2003.

Research Interests:

My research interests are primarily in cross-cultural and social psychology. Specifically, I am interested in acculturation attitudes and strategies, ethnic identity and attitudes toward social diversity. Recent research projects include: ethnic and national identity among ethnic and racial minorities; intergroup dynamics between Anglo-Australians and Muslim-Australians; and attitudes toward ethnic and cultural diversity
